Muscat Hotels in Oman

Oman is a quiet peaceful place to vacation. One of the most popular cities is the Governate of Muscat, which is the capital city of Oman. Oman has truly exciting scenery by the beach, and a collection of historic sites to visit. Oman hotels can be very expensive, so beware of where you go to spend money. Oman is also an Arabic country and has dress codes. I would not recommend staying in a budget hotel in a foreign country. Most citizens of Oman speak English, and they are a fairly modern Arabic country.

Al Bustan Palace Intercontinental Muscat is another of the five star Muscat hotels to stay at during your Muscat holidays. This hotel is also on the beach and includes a spa. The Al Bustan boasts a private beach, a shuttle to and from Muscat, a variety of international restaurants on site and piano lounge. The rooms are large and the hotel is very quiet. Breakfast is offered free daily, and other items are free at the pool and in the hotel room refrigerator. Spectacular views of the beach and surrounding area are available from most rooms. Prices run from $400 – $650.

You can’t get away from five star Muscat hotels. The Chedi Muscat is another well known five star hotel. The hotel features one and two story suites with lush gardens and a great pool area. This hotel is more downtown, but you will need to take taxi from the airport to reach it. Breakfast is provided every day for free. This hotel also provides free Wifi for its guests. The rooms come with many amenities including an espresso machine, a DVD player, iPad dock, refrigerator and large storage areas and are decorated in Asian styling. Rates run between $466 to $700.
