Bowflex Alternative – A Low Cost Bowflex Alternative

I’m sure you have heard about the Bowflex home gym system, you can’t help but see it in magazines or on late-night TV infomercials.

Did you know that there is now a Bowflex alternative ?

If you haven’t seen or heard about Bowflex, Bowflex is a home gym system that uses polymer rods for resistance. They came on the scene and in no time at all beat out Soloflex and dominated the home gym market.

The Boflex is somewhat space consuming but it does include a bench, lat bar, and a leg attachment. It is smaller and perhaps more compact than traditional gym equipment. Although one of the major disadvantages is that it does come with a hefty price tag.

Because of the heavy advertising that they do in fitness magazines, most individuals believe that the Bowflex is probably the best home gym on the market today. Perhaps they might even believe that there is no other home gym that outperforms it. This is not correct.

There are other alternatives to the Bowflex. And believe it not they are much less expensive and either match or exceed the results that you get with a power rods system.

Some of these Bowflex alternative home gyms are less than $100.

The home gym system I’m referring to is called Bully Xtreme. Instead of using polymer rods which after a while lose their strength and become weaker. The Bully Xtreme utilizes steel coils. In fact anything you can do with resistance bands, exercise bands or even cable systems like the ones you find in health club, can be done with the Bully Xtreme home gym.

The resistance level ranges from as little as zero to a maximum of 600 pounds!

With over 82 health club quality exercises — this little power packed home gym is really a great alternative to the Bowflex.

One of the greatest advantages of the Bully Xtreme is the isometric/isotonic training program that it utilizes called — Iso-Synergy Training. This revolutionary training program incorporates different bodybuilding principles such as — muscle confusion, super sets, circuit training and high-intensity interval training.

The claim of this training program is that — “The synergistic effect of all these training protocols allows any individual, any age to get incredible results with just a 5 to 7 minute workout 3 to 4 times per week.”

Knowing a little bit about personal training I can see why this works. The Bully Xtreme is truly a low cost Bowflex alternative!
